Andrea joined the firm in January 2016.
Andrea graduated from Bond University with Honours in 2014 and was admitted to the New South Wales Supreme Court as a solicitor in 2015.
Andrea has a focus on litigation cases involving contractual disputes; directors’ duties; employment law and estate disputes.
Andrea’s recent work includes:
- successfully mitigating the financial penalty for a corporate and director client following prosecution under the Fair Work Act 2009 – Fair Work Ombudsman v Little Vienna Pty Ltd [2017] FCCA 916;
- successfully defending and counter suing a listed resource company under a guarantee and guarantee and indemnity – Wollongong Coal Ltd v NRE Resources Pty Ltd; NRE Resources Pty Ltd v Wollongong Coal Ltd (No 2) [2017] NSWSC 1552; and
- successfully defending a motion from a listed company to restrain GCL from acting as solicitor for the Plaintiff – Gujarat NRE India Pty Ltd v Wollongong Coal Ltd [2017] NSWSC 209.
Andrea has previously worked in practice areas including criminal law, family law and conveyancing.
Andrea has also undertaken a Masters of Law in Dispute Resolution and is a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
